We have an amazing faculty of professional teachers that, on average, have been teaching for over 5 years with South Orange Country Day School.

Each classroom has a minimum of one state-certified teacher. Our assistants are all working toward a degree in a field related to early childhood education.

Our staff is also engaged in professional development throughout the year. On average each teacher attends three weekend classes during the school year. In addition to these weekend classes, we all attend four-five days of in-house training during the breaks that bracket summer camp.
