Kindergarten 17th Week Update PDF Print E-mail

Another great week for kindergarten!

We started with so much fun going on a bear hunt.  Reading Michael Rosen's book and doing a role play about it, gave the kids a lot of confidence.   With the hunt, we learned about birds and the life cycle of frogs (we had a role play on that one too, but just the meeting between the frogs!!!).
Zero the Hero was not able to visit us on the 80th day of school, but as always sent us a letter explaining where and what he is up to. Turned out he is in the North Pole with 0 latitude, 0 longitude and 0 degrees.  Isn't it so cold there??? The kids were amazing, especially William and Bryce comparing the temperature in our school and the one where our super hero friend is.  We are making good use of our thermometer.
Please, keep helping your kid with the role of Meteorologist.
On Friday, we learned about Dr. King and his legacy.   We used some of his quotes to connect with situations in our own lives. Thanks to Veronica´s mom for reading to us!  WHAT IS YOUR DREAM???????
