Kindergarten 19th Week Update PDF Print E-mail

The kindergarten week was filled with math.  We started our unit on measurement and since then, we have been measuring everything in our room.   We also used our measurement techniques to explore interesting animal facts and how they differ in size and weight.   We compared these with our own measurements.

We are also working on estimation and good guesses are a must!

We are writing our own books, too.   We have been taking some time after lunch and recess to create, draw and write our own ideas. When our class is done, we will be reading our stories to the other classes in our school. The kindergartners s are taking a lot of pride in their work.
Happy 90th day of school!   Zero the Hero missed our celebration, because he is visiting a friend in Asia and helping him measure some O-rangutans in Sumatra. What a busy Super Hero!  I am sure he will join us for the 100th day of school on February 8th.
Have a great weekend.
