This week we have especially observed how much our friends have grown across all dimensions:  physical, social, and emotional, as well as cognitively.   They have gained such confidence and independence.  We are so proud of our friends!

We had a fabulous week.  The week began with yoga. The friends enjoyed doing sea creature positions, especially crab.  Then we hopped on our surf board (yoga mats) and rode the waves ...  that was so much fun!

Ms. Nancy brought in her IPad, fancy Ms. Nancy, and shared a video of ballet and tap dancers with the class. The friends were mesmerized by both the Nutcracker and Fred Astaire.

Our Tea Party was a big hit as well.   The friends passed the treats, family style, to one another and poured their water into tea cups. They were all so polite and eagerly shared the snack to the friend next to them.

We ended the week with Kindergarten reading their written and illustrated stories to us.   During Sana's park related story, Gabriel made a connection to his own experience at the park and said, " I like the BIG slide!"

We overheard Deirdre say, "Can I have the guitar?"

Next week we are looking forward to creating Music Pictures and reading, "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" by Bill Martin Jr.
