South Orange Country Day school is proud to work with the community of families to enhance the experience of all students at our school.  

Parent Enrichment Program (PEP) was developed by engaged families that wanted to create a network of families to have fun, as well as support families raising young children.  We all worry about potty training, control issues, bed time rituals, etc.  Sharing ideas with other families can be reassuring and helpful.

For 2011 - 2012 we have Gale Epps-Peters (Olivia's mom) as President, Monique Jean-Pierre (Bailey's mom) as Treasurer, and April Bell (Maceo's mom) as Recording Secretary.   The best way to reach them is either sending an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. PEP manages a few fundraisers during the year with the proceeds to fund indoor physical fitness, as well as materials for the teachers to use with each classroom.  For the past few years PEP has paid for Dynamic Fit Kids to join the school during the winter months to keep us active.  In addition, PEP is funding teacher initiatives to help enhance classroom activities.

PEP also publishes a yearbook at the end of the year to highlight the school activities via pictures.
